SITEMAP

The site of the German Beer Institute has been under development since 2004. It will be introduced in four distinct development stages.

The curent appearance and content of this website represents the first stage. It covers all German beer styles, presents an overview of the German brew industry, describes a few German beer travel destinations and events, and features a narrative of the history of German beer and brewing from the Bronze Age to the present.

The second stage, is still to be implemented. It might see the addition of a monthly news letter and news archives, accessible directly from main navigation bar on the home page. There will also be expandions of the beer travels and events section and the and brew industry section with additional profile of and archives as well as expansion of travel section (more German beer places to visit); expansion of the brew industry section (more breweries; information on hops, malt, brew equipment, and brew education)

The third stage of the site will see mostly technical improvements. The site is currently optimized for MS Internet Explorer. Optimization for other browsers such as Mozilla, Netscape, Netzero will be implmented in phase three. At this site, the site will also receive appropriate search engines as well as an interactive user section with password-controlled login and a chat room.

During the fourth stage, this site will be augmented by a section on the distribution of German beers in English-speaking markets. This section should help you find out which German beers might be available near the place where you live.

Below is the currently projected map of the German Beer Institute website.
